What is EOSL?
EOSL, or end of service life, indicates that the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) has announced that the product support has ceased from a particular date and technical support or maintenance will no longer be available. Your OEM will notify you of this date so that you can seek alternative support or replace the hardware with new products.
What is a circular economy?
A circular economy is the opposite of a linear economy (make, use, dispose) whereby resources are kept in use for as long as possible, ensuring maximum value whilst in use and then recovering and regenerating products or materials at the end of its life.
What is EOL?
End of Life (EOL), according to the manufacturer, means that the hardware has reached the end of its use life. Maintenance may still be offered by the OEM at an inflated price, however the product will no longer be available to purchase from the manufacturer.
