EOSL Support at Ormandy Rycroft Engineering

Ormandy moved from HP/Dell support onto an ICC Support Contract at the EOSL of their servers & storage infrastructure.

 

The Challenge

The main elements of Ormandy’s IT infrastructure were due to reach EOSL support from OEM during 2015.   This affected their HP Proliant DL380 servers and HP P2000 storage. They were faced with two options, either the expensive option to replace the hardware with brand new equipment or the more cost-effective option to seek alternative support.  Either way it was important to start planning their strategy to ensure continued support past these EOSL dates.

The Solution

Ormandy were able to secure support through ICC to ensure their business-critical IT had continued support past the EOSL dates.  Thereby extending the life of their technology and getting the very best return on their long-term IT investments (ROI).

Ormandy Rycroft Engineering have been trading since 1896 in the supply of industrial and commercial water heating packages.  They are market leaders in the design, technology and manufacture of commercial water heating equipment and bespoke off-site HVAC solutions such as calorifiers, heat exchangers, thermal stores and pressure vessels.  Ormandy is now a division of Maloney Metalcraft Ltd, and incorporates Ormandy Newade Engineering, which is highly accomplished in the design, welding, fabrication and polishing of stainless steel equipment.
